Speech Recognition Based on Confidence Value of the Engine

Abstract

Recognizing speech is natural and simple for people. But it is a difficult job for computers, and no perfect solution for the same has been found until now. Some methods such as Hidden Markov Model (HMM) have been found, which show that no solution is perfect. This paper proposes a robust speech recognition model which is built using C# as the platform. The grammar of Microsoft Speech SDK is used for recognition. The model built here can be used effectively by disabled persons, as they can use voice as an interface for the motion of their wheelchair.
