Bridging the Audit Expectation Gap: The Perception of ICAN Members

Abstract
We examine the perception of ICAN members to 29 suggestions aimed at bridging the audit expectation gap in Nigeria by the use of structured questionnaire. We find that 24 of the suggestions were endorsed by the respondents. This is a welcome addition to the search for enduring solution to the expectation gap problem in Nigeria
