Emergence of Courier Services as an Alternative of Postal Service in Bangladesh: An Insight Through the Customers Perception

This paper investigates the customer perception in the growing competitive postal and courier service sector in Bangladesh through some statistical analysis. By investigating customers of different walks, it addresses the opinions as well as the limitation of the courier service providers. Statistical significant association under different hypotheses was tested by tools like Chi-Square Test, Correlation Analysis, and Descriptive Analysis etc. to investigate the relationship of the considered variables. The perception of customers has been analyzed to see the status, problems & prospects of courier services. There exists positive attitude among the customers and they opined that these services have been getting momentum day by day as an alternative of present postal services.
