Abstract

Sociological study of Palestinian refugee youth in two Palestinian refugee camps (Askar camp- Nablus and Jenin refugee camp). This paper examines the Palestinian refugee youth identity as envisaged by themselves and by the society. It will further tackle the impact of the refugee camp per se on the formulation of Palestinian group identity as a symbol of Al Nakba and suffering. It will further examine the components of the Palestinian refugee youth social identity, interalia, religious, political and cultural.
