Abstract

This chapter reviews the empirical research on collaboration technologies and work groups. We carried out an extensive review of 50 journals, and all of the books, technology reports and working papers we could find across disciplines. A total of 51 articles were reviewed with more than 150 findings. The appendix contains an annotated bibliography of that work.
