Abstract
This article provides an overview of the issues explored in and papers submitted for a conference on Loving v. Virginia held at Fordham Law School in 2008. It highlights, among other things, issues regarding state regulation of intimate and marital decision making at the heart of current debates pertaining to marriage, family, sexual orientation, and race in the 21st Century.
