The most popular referent for RTI would be ‘Response to Intervention.’ This Commentary finds that referent wanting. It then submits that the best research evidence supports the referent, ‘Really Terrible Instruction.’ The Commentary concludes by proposing that the most heuristic referent is, ‘Re-Tasking Intelligence.’
