Abstract

In a series of recent interviews with directors of publicly held U.S. companies, The Conference Board gained important insights on how boards can be instrumental in adding value to risk management oversight. The case studies discussed in this report illustrate the value and rigor that boards can infuse into the company’s enterprise risk management (ERM) program.
