Leadership in Administration is a classic. For over half a century, it has been taught to business and sociology students. This foreword to the digital re-issue Quid Pro, LLC, stresses its relevance to political science and psychology students as well. For all, it stresses the links which Philip Selznick draws between leadership and commitment. Leadership in Administrationis a wonderfully written (and brilliantly analyzed, of course) meditation on commitment in theory and practice.
