Abstract
In this paper, in an attempt to re-theorize feminist approaches to sex work, I draw on materialist feminist conceptions of the relationship between marriage and sex work to suggest that materialist feminist approaches to sex work are preferable to the radical feminist perspective on sex work which is currently highly influential.
Keywords: marriage, sex work, materialist feminism, radical feminism, distributive analysis
