Abstract

Biometrics is becoming very much an essence today. There are various biometric products and one can encounter an excess of fingerprint scanners, voice and facial recognition system, retina/iris scanners, hand geometry devices and signature verification systems. This paper looks at the tools of biometrics, their implementation in the Indian Banking Sector, and critically evaluates them.
