The heritage mining-industrial include the elements tangible and intangible assets. It is a way to give value to the identity and memory of peoples. Among them are the Ecomuseums. These proposals give value to the overall heritage of a community, including the natural and cultural environment. This is, above all, a comprehensive strategy. Sierras Bayas is a city whose identity is built on the heritage mining-industrial.
In this village of more than 130 years, the railway, the cement industry and the extraction of clay and limestone are elements found in the territory. However, the place shows a complex weave of objects, buildings and knowledge abandoned. The Ecomuseum mining-industrial could give value to a proposal where the territory is “a place to know the other”.
