Abstract

An unprecedented and absolutely impredictible crack in the status of the magistrates, until that moment fairly well coagulated and unitary, took place recently, but not as a consequence of another power of the state (in fact, in spite of the clear regulations adopted by the Legislator), but of the judiciary.

Obviously, we refer to the status of the prosecutors of the National Anticorruption Directorate and those of the Directorate for Investigation of Organised Crimes and Terrorism Activities, that gained suddenly the supreme rank in magistracy, on a basis of a simple interview and of the legal proceedings, both being fairly easy to achieve.
