Abstract

Virtually every recent report describes women's progress in achieving greater representation on corporate boards as "stalled" or some similar adjective. In light of the increased presence of women in the workplace and the failure of initiatives to date, it is time to consider what additional efforts could be taken to improve the status quo. This essay suggests three approaches, ranging from mild to aggressive.

Keywords: board, directors, corporations, diversity, women
