Abstract

Although a longtime Macintosh user the author describes his preference for the Windows versions of Microsoft Word and Adobe Acrobat to convert MS Word files to PDF format with a description of the shortcomings of the Macintosh versions of these programs and a comparison of the performance of both platforms with particular respect to the creation of hyperlinks within the finished PDF file.
