Abstract

This paper contains many examples showing the kindness, mercy, forgiveness, tolerance, and good behaviour even with the worst enemies of the Holy Prophet (صلی اللہ علیہ و آلہ وسلم). It is the good conduct that counts and brings positive results. Hearts were attracted by the kindness and mercy and not by harshness or oppression. Justice was not denied even to those who were enemies of Islam. Life, honour and property of all are inviolable and the rule of law is to prevail equally and fairly whereby the dignity of mankind is maintained. Life of the Messenger of Allah(صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) is the excellent model for the whole mankind on whom was revealed the Divine Message al-Qur'an al-Hakim. Every word of the Holy Qur'an is full of wisdom. And the morals of the Messenger of Allah(صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) were all in all in accordance with the Holy Qur'an.

Keywords: Conduct, moral, tolerance, mercy, kindness, dignity of mankind, life honour and property. inviolable
