Abstract
Law schools and justice organs professionals training centres provide legal education in Ethiopia. The training centres offer three kinds of training: in service training, special training and initial training. The training centres mainly admit law school graduates into initial training. The need for the training centres is unquestionable and their establishment is in line with best practices of most countries. However, the training centres partly repeat theoretical and practical courses offered in law schools in initial training. This paper explores the causes and consequences of the repetition and proposes some solutions to deal with it.
