Institutional quality is a social construction and, therefore, the result of historical processes. It is a product of accumulated experience, of challenges and conflicts faced, and of capacities built. This construction involves the state and society. The relevance and priority of building institutional quality for Argentina is presented, advancing some strategic propositions for advancing such aspiration.
