Abstract

In the Fall of 1997, I polled the 179 J.D.-granting ABA-approved law schools in the United States to determine how often they offer admiralty. Their responses, which are summarized in Part II and listed on a school-by-school basis in Part III, show that while many schools do offer admiralty, a significant number of law students lack access to the subject.
