Abstract
This research analyse the situation of entrepreneurship in Spain, and compares it to other countries. The results show that there is room to improve and three key factors are identified. These three factors: culture, education and financing of early stage ventures, could help improve the level of entrepreneurship in Spain. The study propose some recommendations that have worked in other countries and illustrate these proposals using some successful case studies.
