Abstract

On August 18, 2011, the Obama Administration announced a case-by-case review of the pending cases of unlawful immigrants facing removal proceedings before the immigration courts. The announcement also stated that the cases that will be deemed not priority will be administrative closed and an option for employment authorization might exist.
