Abstract

This short article is a response piece to a case note review of the U.K. Supreme Court judgment in the case of Sienkiewicz v Greif (2011), and seeks to challenge the argument made in the case note that epidemiological evidence, and scientific evidence in general are as a result of the decision reached by the Supreme Court to be considered as having little or no validity in mesothelioma actions.

Keywords: asbestos, mesothelioma, epidemiology, causation, Sienkiewicz, Willmore, supreme court
