Abstract

This paper describes a methodology for measuring the effectiveness of students' decision making while using a computer exercise dealing with marketing planning and control. The methodology directly assesses the output of the learning process (rather than some intermediate measure such as motivation). The procedure could be used by the instructor in assessing the value of the learning experience provided by the exercise.
