The Role of E-Communication in WAMY’s External Effective Organizational Communication

Non-profit organizations’ aims and objectives are always to help either financially, academically, and informatively. Strategic communication ways, tools and channels have always been their main tools of reaching their publics, both their sponsors and their beneficiaries. Thus, it serves has the yardstick for their organizational effectiveness. Corporate organizations communicate both internally and externally through electronic communications, specifically to achieve their effective communication goal. Considering the fact that organizations that undermine an effective organizational communication, invites corporate failure and liquidation. This study investigated and analyzed data from 106 attendees of different World Assembly Muslim Youth’s (WAMY) activities and programs, to examine the relationship between e-communication (websites, blog, e-mail, social networks, chat and so on) and effective organizational communication of WAMY (organization’s public satisfaction), the relationship between informativeness and electronic communication and the effect of electronic communication on effective organizational communication of WAMY. After the review of extant literatures on organizational communication and electronic communication, though little study was found relevant on external organizational communication most mainly focus on internal communication. The questionnaire distribution was explained with descriptive analysis and Pearson product-moment correlation and linear regression was used to analyze the studied variables. The study concluded that there is statistical significant level of relationship between informativeness and e-communication and e-communication and effective organizational communication. And E-communication has a significant effect on effective organizational communication. Recommendation for future research is discussed.
