Innovative Strategies: Lack of Research

Abstract

Very few researches on the factors that affect innovative methods short cut to company performance have been done. Attention to the performance of SMEs is mostly importance for any countries, due to their impact on local economy and industries. Although a few firms practice innovative strategies which lead them succeeded in avoiding threats to their existence while a good number of the SMEs fail yearly because of lack of innovative strategies. We believe that researched into firm’s strategies does not give a good account of the explanation for the performance of innovative ideas. Previous research focused on classic strategies, while investigations for successful strategies show more interest in innovative ventures. Searching in the scientific databases and journals shows that few reports focused on innovative strategy research, which impacted on strategic management study’s take off contributions. This note alarms the significant lack of research in the mentioned title; and invites your journal special issues and also strategy researchers to contribute in this field.
