Abstract

The conjecuture of this paper is that most revolutions produce undemocratic regimes. We take a list of revolutions, get Polity IV democracy and autocracy scores, then conduct a difference of means test that shows that undemocratic regimes are statistically significant from neutral and democratic regimes.
