Abstract

Many issues affects sample size in inference quantitative research; however, the guiding principle should be the concept of saturation. This has been argued in detail by a plenty of published texts but is still debated, and some scholars say little understood. A sample of studies using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) quantitative research approaches, and method of data collection was taken from literature review; forty seven studies were identified that fitted the inclusion criteria. Descriptive result of this review can benchmarks sampling in SEM based studies, which is discussed in this paper and is discussed in relation to saturation.
