Abstract

The present paper begins from the empirically established positive relationship between the measures of past purchases of a destination and those of the intention to repurchase in the future. It posits that this relationship is mediated by the development of place attachment. It also examines the moderating effect of novelty seeking at two distinct levels: novelty seeking as moderating the relationship between past purchases and place attachment and also that between place attachment and future purchase intention.
