Abstract

This paper deals with economics and politics in Russia in 2011 in light of the global crisis and the quest for a new growth model. The author looks at the results and lessons of 2011. The global economic crisis and its features and how it affected Russia was analyzed. 2011 was the mark of the end of the old model and the launch of the new growth model oriented to the supply economy.
