From the formation of the ancient Russian state trade relations with the eastern Slavs neighboring countries and peoples were established. From the beginning of the tenth century the Russian princes began to conclude international agreements regulating the commercial relations with foreign countries. During the same time the shopping centers playing a special role in economic life of Russian state began to develop. Expansion of foreign trade relations of Russia with neighboring countries and peoples contributed to the growth of the international authority of the state and met needs of economic development.
