Abstract
Success as a manager does not come easily. It takes a lot of work and thought. And it doesn’t come without a fair share of failures along the way. I think it’s always a good idea to turn experiences, both positive and negative, into something useful. That’s what led me to create The Three Conversations: The Commitment Conversation, The Values Conversation and The Performance Conversation. We use this system at ITX, and it has proven to be a great management tool. Together, the three conversations help us to develop strong working relationships, to engender an environment built on integrity, and to maintain an open dialogue about individual dedication to the organization. I believe any company can use these conversations to increase the commitment, adherence to values, and performance that are so vital to success.
