Abstract

In this article, Linda Malone introduces the Special Project: Humanitarian Intervention and Kosovo. The Kosovo crisis caused a whirl of debate that made reference to standards of territorial integrity and self-determination, of prohibitions on force excluding self-defense, and of humanitarian intervention. The unclear legal history of humanitarian intervention is jumbled even more by the intervention dependent humanitarian causes.

Keywords: international law, humanitarian
