Impact of Customer Orientation on Innovation: Literature Review

Abstract
Purpose of this paper is to review the most recent studies on customer orientation as a TQM practices in order to find out its impact on innovation. A total of 12 refereed papers covering the period between 2007 and 2012 were reviewed. The review revealed that there are two dimensions, positive and negative, of the relationship between customer orientation and organization innovation. Most of the findings are predominately positive.
