Abstract

The contents of this paper builds on the used methodology based on the consultancy studies made at several organisms and authorities of the Public Administration, which have been realized on the general framework of nationally financed projects or from direct contracts with entities from this field.

Also, certain ideas from the Romanian and international literature have been put into value. The contributions of this article are situated mainly in the area of arguments regarding to the alignment of the Romanian Public Administration to the Public Administration of the EU-members, to the growth of performance and professionalism as well as to the original sustenance of selection processes and audit which are specific to this field. This paper is structured on the following components: - The alignment of the Romanian Public Administration to the Public Administration of the EU-members – analysis and perspectives - Human Relations Management in the integration period in EU structures - SWOT analysis of the Public Administration in regard to the Human Relations Management, putting into value relevant studies and consultancy works in the field - Personnel selection processes within the Public Administration – the dilemma of democratic elections to the performance ensuring statute (the role of deposed and presented projects; the obligation to follow certain management programs of actuality). - The role of audit in ensuring the performance and professionalism framework of Human Relations in the Public Administration.
