Abstract

This paper proposes an approach to interpreting Quranic verses by strictly respecting the exact wording and terminology which it has used, and converting its verses into logical premises that are used to derive additional conclusions. Even though its real world utility may be severely disputed, it can nevertheless generate useful insights and expand the scope of possible interpretations.

Keywords: Quran, Islam, Logic, Syllogism
