Abstract

The paper explores the application in the caselaw of the Constitutional Court of Romania of the Regulation (EEC) No 1408/71 on the application of social security schemes to employed persons and their families moving within the Community, of the Directive 79/7/EEC on the progressive implementation of the principle of equal treatment for men and women in matters of social security and of the Directive 2006/54/EC on the implementation of the principle of equal opportunities and equal treatment of men and women in matters of employment and occupation, along with the rejection of preliminary requests to the European Court of Justice in the framework of orders of the president.
