Abstract

The Morphometric analysis is mathematical calculation of the parameter likes stream order, bifurcation ratio, and drainage density and so on. The present study area of Valheri River lies in Tapi river basin. For the Morphometric analysis Geographic information system techniques has been used and Strahler (1964) stream order method used for stream ordering. The drainage density of the basin is 2.82 km/km2.

Keywords: GIS, Morphometry, drainage density, bifurcation ratio
