I examine the Melian Dialogue to explore how the idea of justice as a characteristic of international group behavior is often identified as international law, and how it is determined not only by the social structure of the individual members of the group (states), but also by the characters of the personalities involved. I examine the overlap of politics, foreign relations and international law.
