Abstract
This paper summarizes the status of a multi-year, 30-country study of global media market structure. Going beyond previously presented results, this paper analyzes drivers of such trends and projects their implications for future policy. It also compares US media concentration with that of other developed countries, and how market size and market concentration are related.
