Abstract

This article examines the modalities of using company law as a regulatory tool for promoting sustainable corporate activities with a view of mitigating climate change. It uses Ghana company law and practice in critical legal analysis, focusing on the purpose the company, the duties and competence of its organs and issues concerning groups of companies to illustrate the main problems and regulatory opportunities in applying company law for addressing climate change threats in developing states.
