Abstract

The paper examines a new financing model for project finance in the energy industry. It explores the potential attractiveness of bond markets to finance long-term investments. The paper is organized as follows. The first section provides a general description of project finance. The second section analyses the financial structure of project finance in the energy industry. The third section evaluates the financial support provided by the European Investment Bank. Final section concludes.
