Abstract

This paper presents a series of principles to structure the teaching/learning process, decide the roles of participants, and regulate their activity through the educational use of wikis within the framework of cooperative, content, and project-based language learning. More specifically, wikis will be suggested as spaces for interaction and construction of knowledge, which can help develop communication skills for understanding and participating in environments provided by new technologies. Ultimately, they can facilitate achieving technological literacy beyond a simple instrumental mastery.
