Abstract

Antioch University, in an attempt to lower the incidence of date/acquaintance rape on its campus, instituted its famous "Sexual Offense Policy." The Policy is interesting because it is based on the model of "communicative sexuality" designed by Lois Pineau. This essay is an analytic appraisal of the policy, focusing on the concept of consent presupposed by the Policy.
