Abstract
We provide an analysis of the industry effects of President Obama's fiscal year 2011 budget business tax proposals. The budget proposes $443 billion of tax increases on businesses over 2010-20, with a number of proposals aimed at increasing taxes on specific industries. The budget also includes several business tax decreases, including a permanent extension of the research tax credit, but most of the other business tax cuts proposals are temporary.
