Abstract

This Article discusses the major civil rights decisions by the United States Supreme Court issued during the October 2007 Term. The author divides the cases into three categories: first, Section 1983 litigation; second, retaliation cases; and third, age discrimination cases, and proceeds to analyze the decisions of the Term. Overall, in the author’s opinion, it was a good year for civil rights plaintiffs, especially in the employment discrimination area.
