Abstract

This paper is based on a solution related to our previous work with a DSS module that converts into text some Business Intelligence reports generated with Visual Basic scripts in Excel 2007 format (.xlsx files) before encode them using our fast ciphering technique. The novelty is given by an additional ciphering procedure and also by two symmetrical components that convert the encrypted text block saved in .txt file format back into its corresponding intermediary textual form further used to regenerate the Excel reports.
