Abstract

Well-known companies allocate today a lot of money and time in creating web applications that skip the "famous" and also the "infamous" bottlenecks caused by the poor connectivity, the slow server response time, the network lag or by the browser incompatibility. A good deal were: the Dynamic HTML standard which allowed applications to modify entities in the user interface dynamically, using Java Script, the CSS -- used for stylizing the interface or the XML -- used in order to facilitate the data sharing across different information systems. In turn, AJAX brings the efficiency of producing seamless request to a server while retrieving and manipulating external scripts or internal content.
