Abstract
The almost topical so-called Information Revolution has actually became The Knowledge Revolution. What made it possible to automate processes is not the machine - that is just the trigger.
As form of reorganization of traditional work, based on centuries of experience, the well-known concept of software became notable through the applications of knowledge and systematic and logical analysis.
In the mentioned context, the paper describes a data-mart particular model built upon the multidimensional data model to solve a specific issue of deciding. In order to achieve a performant mean to answer for queries that, statistically speaking, variously aggregate large amounts of detail data to find overall trends, this special model comes to optimize the default counting aggregation model.
Aiming at a powerful application area within data analysis - OLAP (On-Line Analytical Processing), this particular model implements functionally distorted algebraic measures and calculated members in order to fulfill and maintain the appropriate practical meaning and usefulness of some statistical indicators as the mean value.
