Abstract

This study aimed at examining the living condition of women domestic workers in Tiruchirappalli District. According to International Labor Organization (ILO) there are more than 52 million domestic workers worldwide. Millions of domestic workers around the world remain excluded from protection enjoyed by other workers, says a new ILO report. The research design adopted descriptive diagnostic research design. It is discouraging to know that all the respondents had some health problem or other problem they faced. Most of the respondents were having housing problems. Many of the women domestic workers were interested in politics. It is encouraging to know that all the respondents had some future plans.
