E-Marketing for Restaurants in TRNC

Abstract

With the aim to identify the challenges for the services in electronic form as strategy for restaurants and to make better understanding with customers behavior and decision in the area of study in TRNC.

The data collection was take place in Lefkosa, Famagusta and Girne. With over 300 data was collected and analyzed with Statistical Package for the Social Sciences Version 22.0 software. The interview topics included questions related to potential targets both currents and future markets and the channel of distribution, also how they positioning the market, who are theirs main competitors, and SWOT analysis on restaurant services in electronic form in TRNC. The result based on the findings Turkish and Foreigner who lives in TRNC are willing to use e-services. Furthermore, it will take a couple years until this electronic form will become more familiar for the consumer to apply and use them. Process for delivery and booking systems are suggested for optimizing the time of the delivery after the order has being placed or confirmation of tables that have been booked.
